You will create a mural on canvas that will be yours to keep. Canvas, paints and brushes are supplied.
My first role will be to act as your potential client and tell you what I want in my mural (just like in the real world).
Then as your instructor I will help you take that information and show you how to prepare a rough sketch while searching for and using resource pictures as 'models/guides'. No cookie cutter murals here, your mural will be created based on your interpretation of what I ask for. After that you will transfer your design to the canvas using a variety of techniques. You will learn the importance of horizon lines, scale, and perspective.
Then the real fun begins...we paint! We'll talk about color choices, shading and highlighting and bringing depth to your work. At the end of the four-day class you will have the confidence to know that yes I can do this, and you'll also have a finished piece of art that you will be proud to show off!
FOUR-DAY MURAL CLASS
A $100 deposit (transferable to another date, but non-refundable) is due when scheduling (to secure your spot) and the balance due one week before the start of classes. All materials, a complimentary continental breakfast, and lunch are provided.
Classes are limited to five students and will be conducted independent of how many sign up. Class hours from 8am-4pm. Need more info? 561-351-9548

TWO-DAY MINI MURAL CLASS
Take a two day mini mural class. In this class we will paint a window with a view (not necessarily the one pictured here). All materials are supplied. A $50 dollar (transferable to another class but non-refundable) deposit is required to hold your space. Remainder due at start of class.
Classes are limited to five students and will be conducted independent of how many sign up.
